Jackie Schott, LCSW

Having graduated from the Louisiana State University in 1995 with a Master of Social Work degree, Jackie began her career working with families in crisis,
providing in-home family therapy. Over the next five years, she worked in outpatient settings with adults, children and families, addressing issues that included trauma, behavior disorders, substance abuse, depression, anxiety,
impaired social skills and family conflict.

My Story

She was hired by a District Attorney's Office in South Georgia in 2000, where she
worked extensively with victims of crime, including children who suffered serious
abuse and neglect. She provided therapy to adult and child victims of physical and
sexual abuse, attending specialized forensic training to assist victims of domestic
violence and child abuse.
In 2005, Jackie became director of an intensive outpatient program in the metro
Memphis area, a program which provided substance abuse counseling and
rehabilitation to individuals suffering from chemical dependency. Over the course of
her career, Jackie has worked with clients in various mental health treatment
settings. She has provided individual, couples' and family therapy to clients in
outpatient and inpatient settings. She has also worked alongside many psychiatrists
and collateral agencies, ensuring the continuity
of care of her clients. She has worked with clients in private practice since 2007.

Presently, her office is located in Zachary, Louisiana. She specializes in treating
issues of mood/anxiety disorders, addiction, childhood behavior disorders, family
conflict, and issues of trauma and PTSD. She is licensed as an L.C.S.W.
in four states and holds a Substance Abuse Professional certification.
She is also a Level II trained EMDR clinician.
