Each one of us has a unique set of strengths. I believe in utilizing a collaborative, client-centered approach to help my clients activate their particular strengths as we work together to solve problems, set and attain goals, and facilitate healing and restoration.
My areas of interest include mood and anxiety disorders, the end-of-life process and caregiving, grief and loss/bereavement, and relationship issues.
About Me
Baton Rouge is my birthplace, but I am proud to call St. Francisville my home. I earned both my undergraduate degree in Psychology and my Masters Degree in Social Work from LSU.
I began my career as a medical social worker in a hospital Labor and Delivery/Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, where I helped support parents as they brought precious life into the world. I then moved into the hospice setting where I had the privilege of caring for individuals and families walking through the end-of-life process and grief and bereavement.
I believe that each of my clients is the expert on his or her own specific situation. I look forward to being a partner in your mental health and wellness journey.
